For the aviation enthusiast who loves tracking and observing planes, this app offers a radar-style interface similar to those used by real-world air traffic controllers at Heathrow. It allows you to track and view planes flying in your local area as well as around the world.

The app acts as a "viewer" for any Virtual Radar Server that you connect to on the internet, providing live flight data. By default, it connects to www.adsbexchange.com, but you can change the server using the [Server] menu.

You can also customize the plane data that is displayed by applying various filters based on flight parameters and variables. For more information on the available filters, you can refer to the documentation at http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/Documentation/Formats/AircraftList.aspx.

In addition, the app has built-in ADSB receiver/Dump1090 server listener functionality. If you have the necessary hardware connected to your mobile device, you can receive live plane data directly from the air in your area.

The app includes a real-time GPS feature that utilizes your device's GPS receiver to provide accurate information about your current movement, including speed, direction, and altitude.

A proximity alert feature is also available, which provides visual and audible warnings based on the distance and height of aircraft relative to your current GPS position.

The app offers a 3D View mode, which showcases over 1000 airliners and military planes, including models such as the Beluga, Chinook, Harrier, and Apache. Additionally, it offers a variety of liveries for balloons, gliders, small planes, and helicopters.

If you have an Android device equipped with gyro, gravity, and compass sensors, you can take advantage of the 3D with VR feature. This allows you to move your phone around in a full 360-degree circle in the real world and see the position of planes around you.
